Rip_frannie 47 Posted January 8, 2016 I've been slacking at posting pics of the jobs I've been doing. A lot of sand blasting on mugs. I sell them for 15-20$ a piece. Around holidays I'll get anywhere between 40-50 orders. I'm going to meet with a local bar owner and show him some samples to see if he's interested in having his glasses done at the bar. My plans are to make portfolios and hand them out to all local bar and restaurants , but I'm trying to come up with pricing first. He last mug is a finger print of my friend who passed away. The funeral home emailed it to me and I drew it out and converted it to be able to cut it.
GraphxNMore 282 Posted January 8, 2016 Looks good. When doing the portfolio, I'd stuff something in the mugs/glasses so that the opposite side etching doesn't show through. Makes it look cleaner and more professional.
Rip_frannie 47 Posted January 8, 2016 I usually put bright colored vinyl. Didn't on these ones here though.
darcshadow 1,627 Posted January 8, 2016 Just a personal preference, I'd make the designs a little smaller so that they can be fully seen when views without the need to rotate the mug to see the whole design. Obviously some designs are intended to wrap around but The ROB for example, looks to big to me.

Rip_frannie 47 Posted January 16, 2016 I asked the customers first , send two previews and explain it will either wrap or be centered and smaller. 99% of the time they want the whole mug taken up.
