jaybyrd 3,770 Posted January 19, 2015 Most times you can get by with some slices in the strip and if really bad you can cover it with some reflective vinyl to help level it out.
eddieb378 41 Posted January 19, 2015 I felt so stupid when I seen what happened but I couldn't tell much by only looking at from the side but I wouldn't have thought you would have to put a twist in the wire neither

Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted January 19, 2015 glad you got it up and going - so the great record on the mb still stands - surprised the usb connection went bad without being ripped out like has happened so many times

slice&dice 2,450 Posted January 19, 2015 In some cases, just rotating the cutting strip will place a fresh portion under the blade track. Not flip it over --- turn it around end to end 180*, right to left, left to right. The path of the blade is not usually right in the center, but is off to one edge more than the other, so rotating it should offer a clean surface hopefully. Glad you're rolling now.

Great advice/ Far too many people just run out and buy a new strip when most of the time just flipping it is all you need.
