Heat Transfer Experiment

I have a small piece of cut, colored transfer heat material that I would like to try out on a tee shirt- I don't have a clamshell heat press yet, but do have a Teflon pressing cloth and a hot hand iron. Think this might work??

MIRROR?

 

Sorry...

For pressing graphics & words onto shirts and items, you have to 

cut the file mirrored (backwards) so when you press it onto the

shirt or whatever it will read right.

 

Your photo above looks like it is not mirrored.

The eagle will look okay facing right or left...the lettering won't.

I recognize my own mistakes....I have plenty of "samples" of non mirrored HTV!

 

HOW can I catch that so easily yet not see my own?:huh:

To answer your main question.....

Yes, a hand iron will work pretty well (not perfect) if you have a good hot iron and lots of pressure.

Go ahead and press it on the shirt, and you will understand. Sometimes, seeing for yourself, is the best teacher.
