slice&dice 2,450 Posted January 19, 2014 Check the fuse and the switch wiring. Take off the cover at that end of the machine (two screws) and verify the integrity of the connections.

Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted January 19, 2014 just for troubleshooting I would try another power cord on it after checking the above. there have been some bad cords in the past
smurfynecro1 0 Posted February 10, 2014 Having the same issue today. Haven't had my machine on or even plugged in for months and when I do it is directly connected to a surge protector. Changed fused (even though it wasn't even popped), tried a different cable, and then continued to open to check the connections. Everything is sound and no connections broke. Of course it goes down when I have work coming in...

I have had the individual plug ins of the surge protector quit on them.
xpaperman 719 Posted February 10, 2014 I have this issue with my SC on very rare occasions. I flip the switch and nothing happens. I just turn it of an back on again while giving the switch a little wiggle. It appears to me there must be a connection problem but I have not looked into it because it is so rare and the wiggle takes care of it. Might be a wiring issue on some SC's.
