2CT Media 25 Posted July 15, 2011 We use quickbooks premier, but for entry level quickbooks pro works well also. If this is just a side gig you can get quicken home and business. There are industry options as well but they usually carry a hefty monthly fee.
mopar691 281 Posted July 15, 2011 Quickbooks integrated with GraphixCALC Pro. IMO nothing even comes close.

mopar691 281 Posted July 15, 2011 Very cool and very easy to use and setup. You should def check it out http://www.graphixcalc.com/ Get the trail and check it out This easily paid for itself in no time from ease of use, quickness and consistincy within bids and estimates. 2CT Media 25 Posted July 15, 2011 GraphixCALC is awesome for estimating, but in all honestly you can do all those functions directly in quickbooks. But I must say that I have GraphixCALC and use it a lot because it dumbs the process down for my partners to accurately quote.
randalle 50 Posted July 15, 2011 In the simplest of forms, Google docs is a great place to start if you aren't ready for Quickbooks, etc... yet. I have an invoicing system in G-docs (free template) that I customized and it works great. G-docs is a nice place to start if you just need basic stuff.
