Guest fivestar Posted November 23, 2009 Every setup is different.....As stated before a lot of people cut it at the same pressure as calendared sign vinyl. I myself use a little more pressure with heatpress vinyl.
TCT 0 Posted November 24, 2009 I have a pcut and cut at 86 for regular thermoflex...but cut the decosparkle at 125.

MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted November 24, 2009 not really, it all depends on how far your blade is sticking out, no one has there blades at the same distance out on each machine. Not to mention people using different brands of blades and degrees,, alot of different variables will cause this.
Guest fivestar Posted November 24, 2009 Yes and pressure settings are totally different between machines too. My Graphtec only goes to like 60 whereas my Refine goes to 400.

sheister 1 Posted November 30, 2009 I cut thermo flex at 110 with no problem. Let me add an observation here to help clear this up a bit. What you need is a adequate pressure to cut completely through the vinyl, but not too much to cut through the carrier sheet. Since the thermoflex carrier sheet is pretty thick, you can probably be off by a lot compared to the numbers mentioned in previous posts without a problem. The most important thing is that you get a complete cut though the vinyl but not through the backing. Do a test or two and weed the final product . If your able to weed easily without any cut through the backing, then your fine. And you should be able to cut most thermoflex with the same setting. For me, this is an adequate setting for both sticker vinyl and tshirt vinyl. Good Luck Sheister
