Pistonpump 6 Posted September 27, 2009 Hi all, Just finished my 3 store front and let me say it was fun. However I had a lot of anxiety of this job. The design has 3 colors and it 50 x70 inches in size. My cutter can only cut 24 inches in width. The other problem was I had to include the metal frame that separates the panels into the design. That was tough. I am extremely happy with the way it turned out. Thanks George

Pistonpump 6 Posted September 28, 2009 At the top was 25'. I probably could of gotten away by using a ladder. I was afraid that if I did put a ladder on there and slip it would break the glass or knock the wall down. I noticed that the glass panels flexed a lot when I applied the decals. I took the safe way and rented the lift and applied the cost into the job. I have no Idea what the font is. My customer had the design drawn up by a graphic designer. I would imagine the font is custom to her. When I see her again I could ask. Thanks George
odokie 8 Posted September 28, 2009 The font looks like Scriptina. That is a very popular font for wall quotes. I use it alot.
Jay2703 704 Posted September 28, 2009 Geo, that looks great. I especially like how you incorporated the window frame. Jay
Pistonpump 6 Posted September 28, 2009 Thanks. The window frame was the hard part. When I was setting everything up to cut I made extra parts of that part just in case I had to make a splice. It was a great job to learn from. Confidence builder! Geo
