curve an object to a path

Recommended Posts

I have a logo that I have been cutting for a car club.  they wanted them straight for the back of the cars, well now they want some curved for the bottom of the windshield. here is a screenshot of what I am trying to do.  the word aftermath is an outline that I have been cutting.  below it is a curve that matches the windshield that they want them on.  I know that the windshield not supposed to be a canvas for vinyl but this is what they want, and I am claiming no responsibility.

any help on this would be really appreciated.

Achappy,

You've got your text and your curved line, just "select both", then click on the "TEXT" menu, and then click on "FIT TEXT TO PATH"

I know how to fit text to a path, the problem is that this is not text anymore.  I converted it to outlines and have manipulated it a bit.  The original font was very rough, the curves did not match and there were lots of curves that had points in them.  is there a way to curve an object to a path?  I guess if I have to I can start over for this one, I was just hoping not to have to redo that work.

I do not know anything about corel,  I am just searching in search engines,,  subject>  Objects on path corel....  I use dogpile.com as search.  You can come up with loads of info that way.  such as:

thanks, I had look at those and tried them also.  I ended up using illustrator and creating a brush from the text and then applied the brush to the path.  That created a really nice looking curved image.  I used my computer at my day job to try this and it worked great.  i will post pics later when I have time.  thanks for the input tho.

I want it but it is not in the budget.  I got Corel because I am comfortable enough with it and I could afford it.
