Do you have to laminate your work?

If so, are you laminating by hand or with a laminator?

I am thinking about leasing one to see if it is worth it and I need some information so I don't look like the newbie I am.......LOL

@round2racing

I do laminate  my work, and I'm using semi gloss liquid lamination "Clear Shield" from Fellers .I'm applying it using 3/16" NAP Roller.

@FireMalt

Cutter in picture is 36" Seiki (Pcut Is in another corner )

@James605

Right now I'm using Triangle ink.

Any advice is more then welcome.

Are you happy with the "Clear Shield", and what is the drying time please?

@ joeblow

I did not have any problems so far.

Drying time depends of temperature , humidity etc but I would say few hours will do it with nice air flow (fan)

James605 where did you get your ink , and what was the price ?

Thanks.

I paid $ 7,000 for this baby (only 415 hours on it)

New heads, new dumpers,lines , capping station , front and rear  heaters.Plus  I spent one day with guys in the shop in order to get basic training (cleaning and simple maintenance)

This is an aqueous printer origionally right?  I take it that it has been converted to the triangle solvent inks?

Neron, what would you charge someone to do 250 bumper stickers on that NEW TOY of yours? IT would say this:

SIGNAL TRAILERS

425-333-3333

Black background with white lettering?

Let me know

Dazzel

Thanks for some great tips if/when I get one of these!  I don't know where i would put it, maybe one of the kids wouldn't mind giving up their bedroom!  ;D

Shoot, compared to the cost of some of these machines, you could add on to your house and not kill the budget too bad. :police: haha
