2GuysSign 4 Posted February 3, 2009 Well, first of all it was Custom Vehicle Graphics Division of my company East Coast Grafix! They just finished up a Sponsored Vehicle for the 2009 Year! Vehicle: 2008 Suzuki GSX-R 600 What was done: Custom Factory logos using Avery Ultra Metallic Rose Quartz, Avery Black Carbon Fiber and Oracal 651 Silver, also using the stock 3D R Ultra Metallic Rose Quartz Wheel Stripes Custom ICON "Rockets Dead Glare" Bomb Logo on the tail Fairing where 600 goes Complete Turn Signal and Brake Light Smoke Tint! Bike turned out sweet! Before: Signals Tinted: Finished Bike: I think it came out sick! This will be hitting up all the bike nights that East Coast Grafix goes to! And this is a girls bike... thats why its slammed 4" in front and rear!

cutme 5 Posted February 3, 2009 what the female wants, the female gets. did you stripe the wheels with a straight strip of vinyl? bb
2GuysSign 4 Posted February 3, 2009 no, they cut the vinyl on the cutter to the shape of the wheel. They are applied as four separate pieces per wheel!
cutme 5 Posted February 4, 2009 two half circles per side? bb

firemalt 10 Posted February 4, 2009 no, they cut the vinyl on the cutter to the shape of the wheel. They are applied as four separate pieces per wheel! FYI... vinyl at about 1/4" will curve when applying it to a rim at the radius. I used to stripe all of our race bikes with rim tape like that. No need to waste material cutting it in an arc. Rodger 527 Posted February 4, 2009 Be carefull with it being lowered , cornering clearance is very limited . I was in front of a guy who " never " needed the clearance . We came into a corner & I was watching him ( as much as I could in my mirrors ) as the side touched , wheels came off the ground & the bike slid like a hockey puck , Thankfully , all he got a alot of road rash . Another guy I knew had his GSXR 1100 lowered for drag racing . was doing a wheelie , came down hard & bottomed out . wiped out & might have lived if the road sign wasn't there . Sign cut him in 1/2 . Sorry to be morbid , but I have to say things like this instead of possibly reading later that something bad happened & I didn't warn about things I have know about
