  1. I'm looking for an affordable solution to applying application tape over large cut vinyl pieces. I've been making text-only based cut vinyls but have been outsourcing the application layer to another company nearby. Unfortunately they can be quite slow and I would like to move that in-house. I have a 26" Big Squeegee that I tried using on a large artwork but it didn't turn out well (the center of the artwork, where the BS was centered on, was very smooth but the12" on both sides were not). From what I can see the only BS that is larger than that is the 32" but that seems like it will still be 8" short on each side for some of my artwork. Have any of you tried using a BS on such large artwork and if so has it worked? Is there another solution? I'm also considering getting the APPRoller which seems like a possible solution, but I'm just worried about using it on very long pieces. Would the height of that be enough to prevent accidental application on longer (50-100" long) decals? If not have you come up with a work around? Thanks in advance

how to widen line on a design to cut?

I have a shape of a car, it is something my client had hand drawn for his business cards. I need it wider to be able to cut a sticker of it.(4x6) it is possibly 2 pt wide now, and I can not figure out on Corel how to make just that shape of the car wider? What magic word to insert in the search feature to help me. I have ZERO corel draw skills, I just purchased it and it is completely foreign to me. I am watching videos and trying my best to learn cold turkey, but it sure is not an easy process. I have tried to make it a bitmap, tried to view it as a wire frame, tried so many different things but when I try to take it into scal it wont work. Can anybody out there tell me a step by step method to enhance the skinny little line to beef it up so I can have some meat to cut ? Currently I resorted to the last 4 days , approximately 3 hours a day solid of pixel by pixel manipulation and my hand and arm are so cramped I am about to cry. Honestly I thought it would just allow me to make an outline in Sure Cuts a lot, but it is so thin it does not recognize nearly half of the design. HELP........ please......

    I'm Back

Well It's been about a year that I've last posted due to a stroke. I sure miss sharing information with everyone. I hope to become an active member again and look forward to once again being part of this forum. Going through the Show Your Work, I'm so impressed with the users creativity. I use 2 Pcut 630's that are 3 years old now. They both are still running strong with no problems. Here are some pic's of my latest work I would like to share.
