I'm having trouble with SignBlazer seeing my fonts when I download them. ever since SignBlazer did an upgrade things seems to be much different. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can see the font has gotten installed but not in SignBlazer.

Hi all. New here. I currently own a vinyl express 31r (it sucks) looking to get a new machine. Trying to decide between the 28" titan or the 34" sc2. I am not seeing any big difference other than registration mark reading. Which one is better, also can find anything about how much memory each one has. Thanks!

Out of the blue, my Titan 2 stopped cutting correctly. Now the vinyl feeds and starts cutting then it stops OR it cuts random lines in the design. Any ideas what the problem could be. I use scalp and have never had this problem before.

Hey everyone, I'm new here and I've had a search but not found anything thats helped yet, sorry if I've missed something. I've just upgraded our PC (bought new) and its running windows 10. Our old PC we run Signblazer 6 on was Windows 7 and it worked perfectly with a USB key. I'm trying to get the new PC set up and working but I can't get Signblazer to recognise that the key is installed. I've got SB5 as well, I managed to get that working on an old PC by running a virtual PC with XP on it, after some messing around it worked, but the boss wants SB6 running on the new PC and I'm at a bit of a loss. Every time i start it up it just says no key and shuts down, no chance to change any settings or force anything else. The PC recognises that the USB key is inserted and it lights up as if its all good but still no luck. Its possible that someone installed another program to get it working on the original WIN-7 PC but he's no longer with the company so we're kind of stuck. I'm pretty clued up when it comes to PC's and tech, so I'm fairly certain that everything is how it should be, but maybe I'm missing a vital driver or something along those lines. What I'm asking is, does anyone know how to get this program up and running on the new PC running windows 10, preferably without running any virtual machine. Any help is very appreciated. Thank you. PS: I have the original discs for SB6 and SB5 along with the USB Keys and both work on other PC's (on WIN-7 and virtual WIN-XP)

My 5 year old Titan 3 68 in is showing "no data" when i press the option button , i can still operate with the software , but is this a bad motherboard , all so it with not hold speed and force when i turn it off i have to set each time i turn it off and on

Yes please help. Yes, so the barcode in vinyl master for the Titan 3 does work. My issue is it doesn't always. Every time it will read the barcode and identify the cut job, but it just can't read all the marks. So I might get 3 out of 4 marks, or halfway through a 70'' cut and it just doesn't read a mark. So I try again and it reads everything just fine and cuts as good as a freaking graphtec. Sometimes it takes one retry or 3 days of retrying. Print a file and cut it. Then repeat but it won't read the other marks this time. It reads the barcode, but not the corner mark. Sometimes just turning the print around and trying from the other end gets it, but not always. I have played with the built in sensitivity and many other things. I can't get this thing to just work. Now, sometimes I can reprint the same file on the same media/laminate and it will read it just fine. You can measure out everything and they are identical. This machine just has a mind of its own on when it wants to work.

How do I get the sign blazer software on my new laptop? I can not find a link anywhere? Sandy

Hey all, I just received my 15" Titan. Downloaded the program, got everything setup. Turned on the cutter to find my USB and the head runs over and crashes, then the belt starts skipping. I can't see any physical limit switches. Anything I can do to remedy this? Thanks in advance, Jesse

I have 4 titan cutters, two titan#1 15"...one titan#2 28"...one titan#3 15". The new titan 3 stops shortly after cutter about 4 words. I checked cables, turned everything off and back on again, reinstalled software. and still having the same problem. The other 3 titan cutters periodically stop in the middle of a job but usually I reboot everything and it cuts ok for quite a while. Has anyone had any success in fixing this problem. I did call tech support but nothing they say seems to work. I have used titan cutter for about 4 years now and I really like them except for this problem.

When I have a design in the software and go do a area test or a cut, the vinyl completely stops moving through. It makes a loud noise and the rollers stop moving the vinyl. I can pull the vinyl through and can feel the "stopping point", but I don't want to ruin the machine by doing so. If anyone could tell my what is happening It would be greatly appreciated. So just recently I've been running into this problem. I have a contour cut around a object that is round and at the origin of the cut it cuts that area flat. you can see in the photos whats its doing. I do all my contour cuts in Sure Cuts A Lot Pro 5. This is what it is supposed to look like. This was the first truck i did. Any help would be great, thanks in advance!

I just downloaded signblazer 6.0 basic. when I have several things in the work space and select just one to cut it sends everything over to cutter. I'm sure its a setting but I cant find it. any help would be appreciated.

This is just me documenting my setup and how I got it installed to help anyone trying to cut with an MH Plotter and no Premium sign cutting software. Its not perfect at all and below all my specs I'll let you guys know what I need help with. They are both free. I've used Flexi in the past and it was great but expensive and my old MH 721 plotter was having issued completing cuts with this setup. Maybe I didn't have it grounded. My main laptop had Vinyl Master, but it crashed on me and I was in the middle of an important job so I had to find a workaround with my Surface Pro. First, I tried cutting through InkScape but it wasnt cutting all the way through. I probably couldve kept troubleshooting with Inkscape and I'll see if I can do the same this I do now with SignBlazer in Inkscape. They way I got it working is with SignBlazer. Here are all of my settings. It took me many trial and errors to even get it to finish cutting a full graphic without the pause of death MH 871 Cutter Baud Rate: 2400 Serial cable Settings: SignBlazer Settings: With these settings it finally was able to cut all the way through without being too off track and without stopping. I also suspect static might be causing issues so I put in the grounding cable and I keep my hand on the vinyl as it cuts. It was moving slow and I don't know if it's because of the baud rate or if my plotter settings are slow. Regardless, it finished and I didn't want to try something new and have it pausing again. I'll just leave this here, for people to use and if you have ay tips for me let me know.

When scrolling through the options using the set button on my Titan 3, I see that there is a Tool X adjustment and an Offset Y adjustment selection. What are these used for? I do all of my adjusting through SCUT Pro. Is this for making finer adjustments directly through the machine?

This machine and software have been working fine for the last 2 years, not today when I went to cut out some of my regular decals it just cuts all over the place and randomly.. Instead of cutting " ABC " It cuts lines all over the place. I have not changed anything on the computer to cause this, Looking for a solution, Im running low on my decals that I need for work Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! i have signblazer my cutter is not listed ive tried every cutter on there to see if it would support my cutter

Hi, we recently bought an hp latex titan 3 printer cutter combo and one of the things we'd like to do with it is die cut decals/stickers. I know the Titan 3 doesn't have a separate mode to handle fully cutting through the vinyl backing unfortunately. Until we can afford to upgrade to a large enough cutter with the feature we were hoping maybe someone had experience doing it with a Titan 3 or similar model. Even if it would likely eat through cutting strips rather quickly. We've done some test runs with different force / blade depth settings and gotten it to nearly work for some of the decals but many don't get fully cut. I know it's a long shot but does anyone know if there's a way to improve the results or are we stuck having to find a new cutter? If so, is graphtec the best choice for something like this? Thanks!

I have the updated inkscape and signblaze. i am having issues where when i import of the EPS fie into blazer that it's cuts the image in half or sections missing. the EPS when saved is full. But when imorting it messes up. Is there something i can do to fix this issue

I'm debating on the Titan 2. Can this be used with Illustrator? I used to use Flexi but have been using illustrator and I am hoping to find a cutter that can be used from it. If it isn't the Titan 2 what would you recommend? Thanks

I am having some problems with getting my titan 2 working. it was working fine, but now im having issues. Im running windows 7 ultimate 64bit I installed the drivers from USCutter and those installed fine to my USB008 Port In devices & printers it shows an unspecified device called SAGA Cutter Plotter I have the plotter installed in devices and printers and its pointing to the USB008 Port. I setup everything in Flexi19 and im trying to cut and its giving me an error. Ive tried changing printer cables, deleting the drivers and reinstalling them, with no change. any help would be great!

When I send a job from Sure Cuts A Lot 5, the cutter is apparently not receiving the job. I thought there was a USB issue, as I tried different cords with no luck. So I purchased a replacement and had my husband change out the replacement USB Connector IO Board. I put it all back together and plugged it in. I tried to send the job again, and it will still not cut. I've changed out cords multiple times also. When I turn on the machine, it starts up fine. I am using a Mac. I haven't updated the mac or software since it's worked, so that isn't the issue. Any help troubleshooting would be fantastic.

Anyone have experience changing a Titan 3 motherboard? My new board arrived today and it doesn't have 2 ribbon wire connectors that the old board had. 1st picture is the new replacement board. 2nd is the old board.

Hello, I was offered a used 28" Titan 2 for $500 but my friend knows nothing about it like how old it is, if software comes with it, if any blades are with it, when his uncle bought it or anything. My question for everyone is are there any issues I need to be concerned about or can I plug it in and get it running? Is this a durable machine that normal wear and tear won't affect it's reliability no matter the age? Is the machine easy to fix if there is a problem? Does USCutter still provide phone support for secondhand users? Also, I am a MAC user and plan to design in Illustrator. I have no problem buying new software if needed. I just want to know if I should be worried about a used machine and not knowing it's history. Is $500 even a good price? Sorry for all the questions but any feedback is much appreciated. Thank you

I bought a graphtec ce1000-60 a couple years ago that came with a computer, all was going well until the computer packed it in. Now I’ve got an Asus laptop with windows 7 on it and have signblazer software, but can’t for the life of me get anything to cut. I’ve got a parralel to USB connection. Anybody know how I can get it to work again? Cheers.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Purchased a Titan 3 recently, and set-up is going okay, except that the machine will not close it's cuts. If I set the 'Blade Comp' to 'Vertical', the machine struggles with closing CIRCLES. If I set the 'Blade Comp' to "Horizontal', the machine struggles with closing SQUARES, or straight lines. Circles are passable however. Using VinylMaster LTR for software. Is there a software calibration or setting I'm over-looking? Is there hardware set-up that I'm over-looking? I've been working with this machine the past couple of days, trying to figure out what it wants. I wrangled a MH721 into really good shape for the past few years, so that I felt confident (at first) that I could figure this one out too. Looks like I was wrong, please help!!
