" I have a 721 set up as well and have all the same settings. the 721 returns to start " Two cutters. Same software, same settings, one does what it's supposed to do, the other ignores the software command. Now, if it was me, I would immediately download and install SignBlazer Elements, and test to see if this problem persists. (Verifying if that older Flexi software is the culprit).
  2. It looks to be a Saga. Or rebranded Saga, Titan would be blue and sold by UScutter. It should have a model number plate on it. UScutter sells parts for it. And has a user manual for it. People seem to like them, If they are working correctly. ..Depending on model, some have servo motors. Turn the power on it and see if it says on the screen what it is.. You can purchase Vinyl Master cutting software for it. https://uscutter.com/TITAN-2-Vinyl-Cutter-28-53-68-inch/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw8pKxBhD_ARIsAPrG45mALfiNF25H4lMLXl3RJJTch7u5PWWZrcIPjRMuE3nmoay3ED8Tps0aAmcBEALw_wcB https://www.aliexpress.com/i/3256801650397084.html?gatewayAdapt=4itemAdapt

    Activation Code

Which cutting software are you referring to? The cutting software with an activation code is only for the original buyer. It would be registered to the Original buyer and cannot be transferred. Signblazer is free abandonware, if you can find a link for it. It is older and many still use it, your CE7000 won't be on there, but many are using an older Graphtec 50 for newer Graphtecs set ups.. Or purchase Vinyl Master. https://www.graphtecamerica.com/software You "might" be able to get software here, after you register. https://www.graphtecamerica.com/register-gs2

I guess the question to ask is what are you wanting to do with your cutter? I don't have a Titan 3 or Graphtec 7000, but I do have a LaserPoint (i), Graphtec CE6000-60 Plus, and Titan 2. Between the three cutters, I would say that the Graphtec is by far, the most accurate of the all the cutters, and even though my first generation LaserPoint is over a decade old, I feel like it's better built than the Titan 2, though the Titan 2 is much quieter. I would say, if your budget allows, get yourself the Graphtec, or if you're looking for something little easier on the budget, then perhaps a good condition Graphtec CE6000.

Have you checked the youtube videos? The cutter is a rebranded Saga vinyl cutter.. From what I have read, people seem to like the Titan 2 and 3 vinyl cutters. And they say good quality cuts. Those 2 have servo motors. It all has to do with getting a correct set up of blade depth and force, just like any other vinyl cutter. As far as speed, personally I cut slow, no need to run fast. It's not a race. We have OPs come in here and complain about new Graphtecs and we pretty much have to steer them into setting their blade depth correctly. That is the first thing that you have to get correct. It is posted on this forum hundreds of times. You do not use a credit card or post it notes to set your blade depth. That is about 10 times too much blade exposed out of the blade holder. It is a myth that just won't die. Even USCutter still puts that in their instructions, it is wrong. It looks like Titans are on sale. As always, buy the best that you can afford. https://uscutter.com/TITAN-3-Vinyl-Cutter-ARMS-28-53-68-inch/
  7. I need some help on deciding what to get drop your opinion. I've done some research on titan 3 cutter and there's not much info out there or videos on how and what kind of cuts or quality it does? Does it get close to what a graphtec ce7000-60 plus do ?

    Contour and perf cutting issues

Making your software work with the vinyl cutter is a Vinyl Master or UScutter job. Are you using 1 blade holder for both processes or 2 different blade holders ,blades set individually for each process? The process I have read with the Graphtecs, is to use 2 different blade holders. 1 is set for the contour cutting. I is set up with blade extended further out of the blade holder for the perf cutting. They don't change the force, maybe just a little. Blade holders/blades are preset to cut, for each option. with the blade in them. Just change the blade holder/blade, for each process. That's all I can add. There are only a handful of forum members here that answer questions. None of them have a Titan 3 vinyl cutter. Maybe some one else can add something.

    Contour and perf cutting issues

Thank you the response, yes we use a cutting mat under the sticker paper whenever doing this operation. The Titan 3 can accomplish Kiss cut, thru cut and perf cut. The Titan 3 will cut all three from 1 file. My question more relates to the software, specifically when editing the pressure of the second perf cut. The information is not changing from the first setting as in the video. So whichever pressure you set for the first cut, it maintains that pressure in all cuts for the object. You can say print 2 stickers on one page, both with 2 cuts, but handled as separate objects so 4 cuts in total. setting say the first sticker at a cut pressures of 80/160 for the cuts and the 2nd for 100/ 200 on the second sticker. The first cuts at 80/80 and the second cuts at 100/100. The second cut on each is a perf cut, but with no pressure change kind of defeats the purpose and will not cut through Yes, every other function changes the cut speed and grams just fine from software control. I do mostly vinyl cutting, but stickers are fun also. I just wanted to try the easy peel method and I must be missing something somewhere. The Titan 3 is very fast and quiet, it dose a great job and I am starting to make and post videos and sharing the information. Thank you again, Keith
  10. Anyone know if the Titan 2 is compatible with SBE? and if so, which cutter should be selected? TIA

    Contour and perf cutting issues

I don't have a Titan or use Vinyl Master BUT are you using a cutting mat under your vinyl? You would have to, or you would be gouging up your teflon cutting strip, if you are cutting all the way thru the vinyl. Or are you not cutting all the way thru? .Plus dulling your blades very fast.. The newer Graphtecs have a dual place blade holder, and the perf cuts are done over a channel, so as not to harm the cutting strip. I didn't think a Titan 3 had that, or could perf cut. I may be wrong, but newer Graphtecs, and Summa can perf cut. Looking at that video of UScutter. Vinyl Master, it looks like they have PrismCut vinyl cutter loaded up in the software. It may perf cut. Ask UScutter if the Titan 3 can perf cut. I see several questions being asked in the forum about The Titan 3 cutting thru and perf cut, No one is saying that it can.
  12. I am trying to do the kiss cut and perf cut stickers on my Titan 3, Using VinylMaster DSR 5.0 I have followed the video "How To Perf Cut With VinylMaster" step by step and it will not use the edited perf cut setting, rather just the same pressure and speed set on the machine. Also using the ARMS system, but is this same method available using the barcode marks, which I have tried and does not work either. Maybe I missing something and would greatly appreciate some help Thank you
  13. So about a month ago our computer crashed and we had to update and reinstall vinyl master on our new hard drive. I have been having issues with calibration. I called support and was told to possible change the carriage. A tech came out and changed the carriage however my laser arms and alignment are still cutting off my image. Is there not anyone in Dallas that knows this machine to help when your contour cut of an image is not cutting correctly? We have a hanging project until I can figure this out.
  14. Hello - I'm wondering if anyone knows what the compatible blade is for the Titan 2 machine. My niece just got a machine (second hand), and I want to pick-up a couple of Clean Cut Blades for her, but am not sure which to select. TIA.

Please, please, please do no write in all caps. I also bought my first cutter from eBay, it was new, direct from US Cutter. You did not specify whether your cutter was new or used, but based on your response, I'm going to hazard a guess that it was used. You might want to check with the seller to see if they still have that information. If they do not, then your "free" option is to use SignBlazer. Slice & Dice was kind enough to provide the link for you. Again, pause your antivirus software to install SignBlazer.

Cutters need to be sold with design/cut/connectivity software. Please contact your eBay seller and inquire about that. You can use 'RedSail' driver with free SignBlazer.

Welcome to the forum. If possible, please try not to post in all caps, as I almost mistook it for spam, and came close to deleting the post all together. Have you consulted the manual for your cutter? It will guide you on how to properly setup your machine, including steps for connecting it via USB MH Manual: https://uscutter.com/content/PDFs/MH_Manual_09172019.pdf You do not need free cutting software, as it should've come bundled with VinylMaster Cut. Which can be downloaded here: https://uscutter.estore.software/downloads provided that you have your PSN (Product Serial Number), which should have been included with the cutter. If you truly want "freeware," then search this forum for the SignBlazer Elements download. You will need to disable your antivirus to install the software, but rest assured that if you downloaded it via this forum, it is malware and virus free. Please also note, that the original creator of the software has long passed away that the only means of 'support' is probably through this forum, which is contributed by volunteers. Good luck, happy cutting, and please keep us posted on your progress.
  18. Hello, New to the US Cutter world. Had Mimaki's in the past. I purchased a used Titan 3 28" cutter from a friend. He was unable to find the manual and software PSN so I had to purchase new VinylMaster Cut v5. I haven't been able to get it to communicate with the cutter. The Titan machine does make a test cut from the keypad on the Titan, but nothing from the VinylMaster software. Called tech support and they walked me through troubleshooting steps and determined my I/O board is bad. In Device Managers, under Ports, the USB Serial (COM3) does show up. Is this a common problem? I ordered the I/O board from US Cutter. Any tricks to installing it? Thanks, Nick Signs by Nick Denver
  19. I've been having very frustrating cut depth issues with my Titan 2 I use for personal work at home. I've spent a lot of time calibrating and replacing parts, but its like it's impossible to find the happy medium... I use a graphtec at my job, and the blade holder uses a spring loaded blade so there's less calibration for depth. You more just need to adjust the pressure. Has anyone done or have any insights on retrofitting a spring loaded blade holder on a titan or cutter that has a fixed blade?

    Flexi 8.5 help needed

Ahhhhhh, Windows, gotta love it. Anyway, did you experiment with the serial connection? Just wondering... You asked a specific question that wasn't addressed, regarding ditching FlexiStarter software in favor of something else. Honestly, if you're comfortable with using it (after years of working in that environment), then to switch would be a new learning curve. At one point I installed VinylMaster, and it's a good program, but I preferred the 'cartoonish' interface of SignBlazer despite that Abandoneware program no longer being supported or upgraded. You are welcome to try SignBlazer (redSail is the model to choose in cutter setup for your MH). Be fun to see your reaction to it!

Using Siser Romeo with Vinylmaster LTR

Hi again Jill, thanks for checking back with that reply from FC support. I think you misunderstood the answer that FurtureCorp. gave you. What they seem to be saying is that the Siser cutter is not featured within their regular VinylMaster program(s) and is "proprietary" for the LDS software to pair with it. In other words, they don't have a Siser machine driver built into any of their Vinyl-Master branded products, and only the Leonardo Studio can provide that. That being said, you have found a work-around program with ECS, which fortunately has a driver for your unit. (FutureCorp. was telling you that THEIR apps aren't compatible, but as you've discovered, there is some other developer which placed the Siser cutters into EasyCut's program coding.) Just out of curiosity, what attracted you to the SISER unit? Was there some feature or configuration you liked, versus a regular USCUTTER Chinese knock-off of Roland-type cutters? (SC2, or LP3, Prism-Cut or Titan models?)
  22. Good design and cutting software with updates is NOT free.. There are people who use Signblazer, which is an unlimited trial. For Windows.. It has not been updated for probably 10 years. I do not use it. You have to choose a software that is compatible with your computer operating system AND your vinyl cutter. The Graphtec site tells you what is compatible if choosing Graphtec software. You can purchase, VinylMaster, Sure cuts alot, Signcut, Flexi software. And some others if you search. You can also purchase design software. Or Inkscape.org is FREE design. This is considered a skilled job, that you may need to invest some money into, to get the results that you are seeking.

    OFFSET CUT ISSUE

You need to find a forum for crafting vinyl cutters. and crafting software.( Cricuts). Most people here use full size vinyl cutters, and either Vinyl Master, Flexi, Sure Cuts A lot and Signblazer cutting software.
  25. I'm on my way out the door, but wanted to quickly mention a way to verify a 'software glitch' -- choose another software to run the job. SignBlazer comes to mind.
