I know a guy that has a land leveling business. He uses a 46 inch tv for his monitor. Helps him design field layouts he says, but to me it is blurry. You can google a chart online and see what tvs are best viewed at certain distances. It would be nice to have if you were sitting on a couch and looking 10 feet away I guess, but not so much at point blank range.

I don't see my cutter as an option for SignBlazer....
GraphxNMore replied to diyanddone's topic in SignBlazer
What about cutting through SB on an SC cutter? When I hit the drop down arrow to select my cutter, I can't scroll. As soon as I click the arrow or the slider bar it closes the drop down window. I can reopen it and scroll between the cutters that are in the in the window. I can however scroll through the connection drop down wndow. -
WARNING TO EVERYONE!!!!
GraphxNMore replied to laras4labs's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
I still don't see how they took a loss. It saved them money actually by not having to give one of their decals already on hand. LOL -
can't get the bubbles out. please help a guy out
GraphxNMore replied to THEJTINS's topic in General discussion
A lot of times it's not a bubble that causes it. It can be a very small piece of dust that doesn't allow the vinyl to completely adhere. The gap between the top of the grain of dust angling down to closest contact point appears as a simple bubble. -
This is a modified Browning logo........ be careful.

My Pricing Calculator
GraphxNMore replied to huntrjo's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
I entered qty 1, 5H by 37W, complexity 8, 1 color. When I put a 1 in 23" it goes to $49. When I zero it and put a 1 in 36", it goes to $50. When I put a 1 in both, it shows $64.- 40 replies

Here's a link to a pricing calculator that was shared on here. It's pretty neat. http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/topic/42689-my-pricing-calculator/

Fixed and variable cost per square foot
GraphxNMore replied to HDN's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
Cost of vinyl ( I generally pay $30 for a 24"X10 yard roll) is about $0.50 per square foot. A 12"X12" decal is generally priced at $12 (L+W/2 method). That leaves $11.50 for machine wear and tear, labor and other materials. -
A buddy of mine's son requested this. I'll post the eps when I get back to my laptop. On my phone right now.

I use even my 2" pieces if I'm cutting words or numbers. If it won't work, I go get my mother-in-law's cricut. LOL

Jonesboro area.

Feed it with rollers, just be sure to remember a margin because if you get it too close it will spit your sheet out and the machine won't recognize it and it will continue to run. (speaking from experience)

I said the compressor won't keep up with the cabinet. The cabinet will come with its own gun, and I would guess it would use 6 cfm. That compressor would be doing good to put out 2cfm. The compressor however could probably keep up with the gravity gun.

It depends. I sell some college logos that I am licensed to do so. I contacted NASCAR, they told me if I was "making for friends and family (wink wink) then just do it". She actually said wink wink. The only way I would need a nascar license is if I was going to tracks and selling hundreds of items per stop. Harley said they're not taking any new vendors. I asked about a crafter's license which would allow me to produce items on demand, I got a vague answer. I wasn't told I COULD sell 10 or 20 per year, but I also wasn't told I COULDN'T. Major League Baseball is easily obtained.

That compressor won't keep up with the cabinet. You're gonna need one quiet a bit larger. It might work for the gravity feed gun.

If you're worried about waste and the environment, vinyl might not be the gig for you.

I ran a test cut on 3M IJ35-10. It sucks for weeding, and I'm out of 651 white. LOL Anyone need any pirntable graphic film??? It's great for simple cuts abd contours after printing, but small stuff is for the birds.

The chassis of the cutter might not be grounded to the internal componenets. You'll need a volt meter to check continuity between the ground post and any of the external screws. Then run a wire from it to your stand.
