  1. what do you mean you ran it thru inkscape?  did you vectorize it and save it as an .eps?   or whatever file that  winpc can import?  If you have winpc pro you can vectorize it there.

  2. you cannot import CS5, too new.   when you go to save as in CS5 ,, there is a drop down box to save in older illustrator, save as Illustrator 8 .eps and if you can't find that, read your user manual for your CS5

  3. every version is trial now, because  Sign Blazer is no longer in business, you have to make sure it is a vectorized image.  and has no raster in it. should be an .eps format in an older version, like  adobe Illustrator 8,  If your having a ton of problems with the file, then post the file and possibly someone can take a look at it.

  4. you will get better results vectorizing  images with  inkscape.org   a FREE program,  there are videos, tutorials and other info for vectorizing in the inkscape thread, you cannot cut clipart images UNTIL they are vectorized.  You can go on Ebay and other websites and purchase vectored images,  You can also go to a search engine and  enter  Free vector images.  I personally use  www.dogpile.com  as it is a combination of a lot of search engines with more results.

    tutorial might help you out

  5. Howard just posted this in another thread:

One thing to keep in mind is the chip in the cutter.

If you can use the FTDI driver from the support website you're good.  If you have to use the cutting plotter driver you will not be able to use any 64 bit OS, nor will it work with win 7.

You can replace the I/O board or get a Keyspan USB to serial adapter (from walmart.com unbelievably).

  6. exactly why I shop at Earlmich.com     over 4 years, and ALWAYS have my product next day, if orderd by 3PM.  And I will stay there.   ;D   Great service, price, and product.  Granted I am only a state away, BUT I can count on them.  and that matters to me.  and my shipping info is sent same day.  I don't  let my inventory get that low,  but I do know that when I order, the product will be here, So I should be, to bring it in the house.  ;D
