A while back I had asked for some input on the best way to do a big check I was going to donate the work for the Ronald McDonald House for the kids. The car club had raised $3,000.00 and was presenting it to McDonald's. I love to give back when ever I can, and I see I am not the only one Shawn sent me a PM right away and offered to print it and ship it no charge. I am forever grateful and if I can ever return the favor just ask, they are going to love it. I just went to Walmart and picked up a cheap board and got done installing it... Thanks again Shawn you saved me lots of time trying to come up with something in vinyl as my printer wasn't big enough ... http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/topic/51297-need-some-help-on-this-one/

LOL Thanks GC Also don't be afraid to trim, the sub paper that can also help keeping everything clean that for sure looks like its the edge of a dirty paper or ??

I always do 400 degree for 60 seconds XXXXXX but that looks good. Did you use a paper cutter to cut that paper or dirty scissors ? You have to be very careful with dye sub shirts as they will pick up any little mark and transfer it onto the shirt. I usually cover my shirt with a Teflon sheet or butcher paper but to me that looks like either a cut line or the edge of the press being dirty ...

Always looking for something different. I was bored with the GT Logo on my Shelby and thought about changing it to different things. This last show a lot of folks were asking what branch of service I was in and where I was wounded as they see my purple heart plate. I dont like putting decals on the car trying to keep the clean look but came up with this idea. Its printed on waterproof vinyl from Papilio then laminated with 210 film The fun part is I can just peel it off and change it to something different very easily ...

Thats good feedback for someone getting ready to buy the laser system. I wondered about that, I just go back to my way of doing it, take the tee shirt fold it in half press 2 secs to get a light crease mark on the shirt , then line up your transfer and fold that in half being careful not to touch it together if your using heat vinyl. Then I mark each crease or if you have good eyes or light you can just go by the crease lines. Line up those two crease lines with the center line you created on the tee shirt and press, perfect every time. I think I can take credit for that one I had never seen it done anywhere until I came up with it. I know a few of you use it. I came up with that idea when my transfers were coming out worse with the t square then if I eye balled them so I needed to figure something out... Too bad I couldn't have patented that idea LOL

As most of you know I donate a lot of my time to the Wounded Warriors in Action, along with my show car events. I was contacted by the DJ of the Ronald McDonald House and asked if I could make one of those big checks that you see where the folks presenting it hold it up.m Our car events have raised $3,000.00 for the kids that they are presenting. I am of course going to donate it as I do every month with give always and mugs however never doing this I am not sure how to proceed? Make it with vinyl on a white banner, some type of cheap board as it only gets used once. I cannot print it because they want it around 18" X 30" or so and I can print that big . Any ideas ??
