A tribute to an Army unit back from Afghanistan. I did two of these for Christmas.

Home-made rack placed in my closet for 50 yard rolls of 24" vinyl. I super-simplified other DIY projects. I just used two 2x2 posts 26" apart, slightly longer than the height of the closet shelf so they sit at an angle on the ground, and placed bolts every 6 inches. I cut 3/4" electrical conduit into 30" lengths for the rolls to rest on. The "rack" is bolted up top to the closet ledger board, but just rests on the ground. For ease of identification/reordering, I used little gator clips from Ikea on the left bolts so I can cut out the vinyl color name/number labels from the shipping boxes and hang them next to the rolls. A shoe organizer hanging on the right gives me more supply storage (for masking tape, extra squeegees, etc.). Holds ten 50 yard rolls (11 rolls if the closet shelf supports weren't in the way).

A work bench I made for myself. I made a wood table frame and used a shower door from the Habitat store as the table top. I ran an LED bar light underneath on the right side so I can use the desk as a light box for aligning multi-layer pieces. My cutter will go on the wall to the left of the work bench. Three shelves on each end of the table and pegboard on the wall provide tons of storage space. The two tier dispenser on the end would let me run different tack papers at the same time if needed. All said, less than $100 for this project.

First order was 45 shirts. I threw in a few aprons and a couple koozies.

Sticker Idea

This was my first nylon shirt. I pressed the silver metallic then learned that another vinyl could NOT be applied over it. So I dropped my black below the silver design. It was all practice and since it worked out I gave it to my dog trainer for his business and he loves it and gets many compliments for looking so professional. I buy fishing shirts as I come across them at thrift stores and yard sales. I did this even before I knew about heat pressing.

Two new products I am testing. Like them both so far will have to do more testing.
