Removing Background

Recommended Posts

I have an bitmap image that has a white square background around it.  I just want the image with no background.  How do I remove it?  I am trying to do it with corel photo paint.

Thanks for any help/instruction

I know how to do this in corel but not paint. Has to do with boundary and intersecting, Takes 20 times longer to explain than to just do it.

I use Clipping Magic, a web-based app.  It costs $3/month and does an amazing job of removing backgrounds, and not just easy, solid colored ones.

I use it to remove backgrounds from pics that I then print on PhotoTex and contour cut for wall art.  It's nearly fool proof.

I just started using it 2 weeks ago.

Pretty easy stuff.
