gcextreme 475 Posted April 23, 2014 My customer wants a custom open/closed sign that she can easily attach/detach/move from her front window or door. First thing that comes to my mind is suction cups... Anyone have any ideas for this? Most places have the plastic two sided Open/Closed sign haning on a string or chain. But she doesnt want it haning..moving against the glass etc..she wants it solid to be able to remove it/flip it over... Any ideas? Do they make suction cup sign stuff?? pshawny 410 Posted April 23, 2014 Maybe these guys, http://www.displays2go.com/C-57/Glass-Door-Signs-Stick-On-Frames-for-Window-Mounting?gclid=COaD-6iS970CFQsSMwod0zoAdQ If you find a cheap one locally that already has lettering on it, then you could cover it up with vinyl. Vermonster 111 Posted April 23, 2014 You could pop a grommet into coroplast for a quick, low cost solution too. I prefer trying to go 'higher end' myself with plastic sign blanks, but depending on their budget, if they balk at a higher cost one, a smaller coroplast sign with a grommet or two may save the deal if price is an issue. Some sign folks have coroplast laying around. May also speed up the delivery
mabscotthandyman 1,410 Posted April 23, 2014 The premade open/closed signs are so cheap it really is not fesabile to make them. Most suppliers have them and also the coro signs. The link posted above is an example

Easy to mark up too.
