decalboyz.ca 0 Posted May 26, 2007 ok I currently have the refine plotter and I have had some small problems for the beginning I was just wondering what the difference is between the refine and copam plotters. My major concern is that the plotter does not completely close lettering or images so it makes weeding a very long process having to go back with a knife and cut the places that the plotter seems to have missed. Does the copam plotter have issues like this or is it that much better of a unit? laso i am using flexi sign pro is this compatable with that software
kenimes 42 Posted May 29, 2007 The Copam is a much better unit. Built better, less noise, etc. Also has the optical eye for auto measuring material size. The cuts not closed could be an offset setting in Flexi, you may just need to adjust and test a few times to get it set properly. The Copam series works with Flexi as well, and Copam is actually working on a driver for Flexi.
