SynFX 1 Posted August 28, 2008 Finished product.. She paid $200 for design and first set of magnetics.. she ended up hugging me three or four times saying how she loved it.. I walked away with another check for $300 to do more! Turns out we are going to pick up two businesses from this, hers and her husbands construction business. Websites, legal docs, business cards, magnetics, window graphics and more I am sure.. THANK YOU GOD! Baby coming... some know what a relief that is in this situation - 7 months on monday! 2 to go......
Big-Kid 0 Posted August 28, 2008 Solid work Cody Nice touch using the paw prints between the tele numbers Is it all vinyl? If it is, about how long did it take to lay all of it down? And do you use the pre-cut magnet sheets or do you buy a roll and cut them out yourself?
SynFX 1 Posted August 28, 2008 Yes Big it is all Avery and 3M vinyls.. It took me about 30 minutes per magnetic. I had to pre-cut my magnetic strip off of a roll I bought. You save nearly 45% when you buy a roll vs. pre-cut. It took approximately 30 minutes to cut and weed everything, hour install, 5 minute delivery, and about 3 to 4 hours design. Now.......... For the longest time I foolishly bought only 10yd rolls at a time trying to feel like I was saving money.. I recommend everyone stride to make a purchase of 25ft of magnetic next time and 50yds of vinyl to see how much that can really save you in the long run. For example with magnetics.. pre-cut $12 each - roll $70 25ft roll = $5.60 per set Get 12 sets for the price of six. You do the math = Higher Profit. The first magnetic you make will make your money back on supplies, now it is time to make some profit. Build Inventory one 50yd roll at a time, start with white, then black, red, blue, and so on. Big-Kid 0 Posted August 28, 2008 Kool, thanks for the tips Cody Out of curiosity, is it not common practice to leave your companies name somewhere on the sign/magnet/banner? Like having a little "Signs by SynFX" down in the corner of that magnet?
