Cutter install in Flexi 10.5

Hi,

   My Vinyl Express 24 Cut died. I purchased a used MODEL KI-720 that came with Signmaster V3.5 Software. I have FlexiSign Pro 10.5. I would like to be able to install that cutter to used the Flexi software design and cut since I use it a lot and if familiar with its functions. Also I can't get the Signmaster program to deactivate so I can activate it. Its shows my PC and the as Product registered to in the about screen. ?  Can anyone Help? TIA

Your cutter is a Chinese-made brand called VEVOR.

If you want to utilize that with Flexi, you're outta luck, because it's not a supported cutter in Flexi.

You will need to contact FutureCorp. software support team directly in order to sort out your registration problem.(your screen shot shows "Not Activated")

Design in Flexi, export as .eps, save file, import and cut with Signmaster.  People come here with many problems on those Vevor cutters.  https://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/search/&q=vevor

I use bare bones Flexistarter 8.6 to cut with.  Have Flexidesigner 10.5  to design with.

Just to clarify. I use flexi directly to  vevor cutter. Simple too. Just installed as a us cutter laser24. My cutter is 24"  works perfectly fine.

Chris, welcome.

Not to argue with you at this late date (this is a necrothread from several years ago), but I stated that Flexi doesn't offer the option of selecting Vevor cutter drivers. Your workaround of choosing a different machine ( us cutter laser24) isn't the same as having the proper exact driver for the Vevor.

Unfortunately, Vevor is not listed as a supported brand in SB. We tried to utilize several different alternatives (Roland driver, Liyu driver, Creation driver, etc.) but although the cutter would respond and cut, there were issues with the quality of the output. In all cases, the cuts were off by a fraction and left the paths uncompleted. After a series of trials that resulted in weeding nightmares, she went along with the SignMaster program and the cuts were perfect.

Congratulations on being able to work without problems with Flexi and Vevor using the Laserpoint driver. That information may indeed be useful to someone who owns a Vevor and prefers Flexi workspace.

Just out of curiosity, Chris, what prompted you to come in today and add this post to the Forum? We're kinda bored around here, and having a guy like you who seems to know the ins-and-outs of this business could be a welcome addition to our regular crew here!

MzSkeeter, that link leads to a download that's a 7z file, requiring a standalone 7ZIP program to open it.

Highly unlikely anyone is going to require it anyway, because with purchases of a VEVOR machine, the SignMaster software and drivers is bundled.

You know what I'd like to see here on the Forums? A review of the new MH units. I was really going to invest a few hundred bucks to get the 34" MH100 in white, but not available.
