Hook Solutions 0 Posted August 31, 2021 I have a very simple shape, a half circle. as you can see the cut order is all over the place. I am trying to get this to cut in a continuous path. I have tried to "join" the different line segments, but that does not work very well or not at all. I have tried to change the order and it doesn't work well either. This was drawn in a cad program as an arc, straight line on top and the round the corners. I export as a dxf and import into VE LXi Expert 120 I drew another shape that was a spline, no straight lines or arcs, and it cuts perfect. any idea how to get this to cut in a contininuous path? bikemike 711 Posted August 31, 2021 Cad programs do not make curves. They are made up of a lot of small segments to form the curve. Just redo it in the graphic program.

I have been using Flexi 10 basic version and importing dxf straight into it. I never had any problems.

HI mate Give this file a try on your cutter. See what happens. Do not ungroup the shapes. Hopefully this will cut continuously as a single path memorabillia.ai memorabillia.pdf memorabillia.dxf

Use pedit command before saving it as a dxf in autocad. Type pedit>> select any part of the shape.. Click yes if it asks you whether you want to make it as on>>> select Join or type J and then select whole of the shape and press enter. It should be selected as one shape when you select it after that
