Ch_tinter 0 Posted May 12, 2020 I'm useing the graphtec ce6000-120 plus and after 3 years of smooth sailing I have now come to my first problem.patterns are coming out unfinished, I have replaced the Teflon strip and blade adjusted to where test cuts come out just as needed, but still patterns for automotive window tint come out missing the same spot on each pattern.any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated. MZ SKEETER 4,717 Posted May 12, 2020 Have you added "over cut" in your cutting software? No mention of which cutting software that your using.
darcshadow 1,641 Posted May 12, 2020 If it's the exact same spot every time I would suspect the design. If you rotate the design does the problem spot remain? If it does, further evidence of a design problem.

Ch_tinter 0 Posted May 12, 2020 So did another cut, this time rotating the pattern and yes missing part of the pattern but not in the same spot the plotter cuts nor the spot where the last pattern was missing.its as if the force changes.i can see a slight indentation where the blade passed.still waiting for graphtec to get back to me and have sent a request to computercut to have a tech call. Wilson 43 Posted May 13, 2020 I would check the cutting strip again. If it were me, I would load enough material to do two cuts. Do one regular, advance a little & reset origin and then one rotated 90 degrees. Now see if the problem area is the same location on the axis the cutter head travels. If it is, your cutting strip is not level which may be why it seams like your force is changing mid-cut.
