Guest Melissa Posted October 12, 2018 I purchased creation PC Cutter about 10 years ago. The Sign Blazer software came with it. I have hundreds of designs in that program on a laptop that is out dated and ready to die. Can I transfer all my designs and fonts into a new software program on a different lap top? signed.... clueless ha ha
darcshadow 1,627 Posted October 12, 2018 Can it be done, Yes. Can it be done quickly and easily, No. Signblazer can export designs as EPS files that you can then open in most other vector programs but there is no automated way of doing this. Personally what I would do is keep signblazer around and if I ever need an old design I'd then find it and convert it to EPS. I wouldn't spend time converting every old design that I most likely will never need again. As for the fonts, they can be copied over to the new computer. I believe you can just copy them to the windows font folder and you're golden, I don't think you have to install each one individually.
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted October 12, 2018 I used a Sata Adapter before to transfer to another laptop hard drive. Worked good. Hard drive to hard drive. Cheap and fast way to do it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-2-0-to-IDE-SATA-S-ATA-2-5-3-5-Hard-Drive-HD-HDD-Converter-Adapter-Cable/322512733253?hash=item4b1741c445:g:oOcAAOSwAWlaVHFq:rk:9:pf:
