da5id 0 Posted January 10, 2018 Hi there, I'm using a Titan 3 to cut paper and card stock and I'm having trouble finding a good carrier sheet. I got some adhesive ones of Graphtech and they were so tacky that the paper stuck to them, ruining both the paper and the carrier sheet. I then tried some Saga cutting sheets, and the same thing happened, ruining both. Do y'all have recommendations on a good setup for feeding paper through the cutter? slice&dice 2,450 Posted January 10, 2018 What about this stuff? Available at walmart. (says it is 'repositionable')
da5id 0 Posted January 11, 2018 Good suggestion. It may work, but I worry that it'll leave tacky residue on the backside of the paper. I should try it though.
slice&dice 2,450 Posted January 11, 2018 Well, some residue will indeed remain, so while you are already at walmart, buy some of THIS --
darcshadow 1,626 Posted January 11, 2018 I don't think goo gone works well on paper. 1
da5id 0 Posted January 12, 2018 Solution so far has been to mount paper onto a large, thin cutting board (purchased from a cooking supplies store) with drafting tape all around the edges.
Wildgoose 4,200 Posted January 12, 2018 I have a Cricut cutting matt and experienced similar concerns as you about too sticky. I basically dirtied mine up until it wasn't so bad. A little lint and dust did the trick. 1
