My wife saw these online and wanted me to try and make some......Its just transferring an image onto wood but its pretty neat....Here is my first attempt at it....

Is this where you print onto the backing from a sheet of labels and then transfer to wood? I have done that a few times with decent results.

I'm not sure if this is the same process but I came across this

When I tried this I just printed straight onto the coated side of the label backing and then applied straight to unfinished wood. It wasn't as vivid as the one in the linked video.

That video is close....Im just printing a image onto regular paper and applying it to the wood....Once dried I wet down the paper and rub it off by hand leaving the image transfered to the gel medium....

She is using a laser printer in the video. ...I used ink jet

Personally I like transferring with sublimation there are samples on here somewhere.

But I can do this on any wood.......Not just a wood treated for sublimation
