gez29360 0 Posted February 22, 2015 I have an entry level MH cutter and I'm impressed with how well it works for the price paid. I'd like to hear from people that started with an entry level machine and have used several other machines. I'd like to know what the benefits are of a higher end cutter. slice&dice 2,466 Posted February 22, 2015 Money. (i.e. -- do you have it?) I ran a sign shop using an MH for years, cutting with SignBlazer. 99% of what I produced was lettering (texts), accented with the occassional graphic (primarily from the SBE Library). At some point, I ended up tripping over the USB cable and snapping off the USB port connection, and when I called USCUTTER for a replacement port board ($50) they offered a deal on the SC unit which I ordered. (Looking back, I wish I had obtained the LPII) Benefits to the higher-end cutters are well-documented in several threads. The bottom line is where YOU need to be in your operations.
