motoxchic 33 Posted August 25, 2014 Was wondering where you source your THICK coro sheets from online? I am looking for something that will be screwed into existing wood posts (24"x36"-ish) and will be a permanent sign board...probably about 10mm
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted August 25, 2014 coro is never permanent it will still deteriorate - use an aluminum substrate for more permanent
jaybyrd 3,770 Posted August 25, 2014 I get it from Grimco. I have a yellow thin coro sign that's been up since '08 but it's seen better days. Coro usually outlasts banner but still not an ideal for anything semi permanent.
motoxchic 33 Posted August 25, 2014 I should clarify...semi permanent with a low cost option. It is going under an existing wood post sign/plywood w/ paint church sign with an additional Friday night event ad, which may come down and be replaced by something like Vacation Bible School for a month, etc. Dakota, where do you get the aluminum board?
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted August 25, 2014 Local suppliers (well 60 or so miles away but deliver by their truck). Alpine in Lansing or wensco or advantage

motoxchic 33 Posted August 25, 2014 my biggest problem is we are rural and there are no sign supply stores here, so i am forced to order online. i do go to Sacramento CA often enough, but so far I am still looking for good supply shop.
jaybyrd 3,770 Posted August 25, 2014 I'm an hour from my supplier and it took me 2 years of begging to get on a delivery route so I feel your pain.

I am 4 hours away from my nearest supplier (for Aluminum Composite Panels at least) I just paid $120.00 just for shipping to have grimco send me some panels, but at least i caught the panels on sale. Wildgoose 4,200 Posted August 30, 2014 Up here we have Denco Sales and Sun Supply. Denco has even started stocking some Siser HTV which comes in handy of you run out a yard short.
