Advice on an application

I am trying to put some words across the back of my Horse Trailer. I need advice on the application of the decal. Part of the decal will span the gap between the two halfs of the doors. Should I cut the decal in half, then line it up right to the edge of the door, or should I put the decal up then slit where the doors meet up? 

 

I've never done a decal that spans a gap like this, so I'm not sure.

I install then cut the gap ...make sure the vinyl is pressed in well into the gap after cutting...just thak the edge of your squeegee and run up the gap edge

Could you just space the lettering where the gap s between to letters..

same as Dan but clean those edges real well all the way around first

Unfortunately, the way the logo is, there is no gap between the letters. Otherwise I would do that.
