skarekrow 1,842 Posted April 25, 2014 I know nothing about scalp but can tell you that creating layered files (from other images) for multi-colored vinyl work begins in raster form. Photoshop or Corel or Gimp, heck, even Paint Shop Pro is your friend there. It's almost always easier to break down the image into seperate, clearly defined layers at this level. Skill in Pixel based graphics software pays big here. From there, using the auto-trace functions in most software can be very satisfactory. Even manual trace over existing artwork is greatly simplified with proper image prep.. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
