Cal 393 Posted February 12, 2014 I've used regular vinyl and paint mask also. I find the regular vinyl sticks better than the paint mask, but being thinner you have to be careful not to let any bubbles under it. If I have a bubble I will often just put a small piece of masking tape over it. Those bubbles will pop and you end up etching a spot you didn't want to do... Paint mask on the other hand, doesn't stick so well so you have to be careful on thin letters, like a "V" on a capital M that it doesn't start to lift off.
