bikemike 711 Posted December 6, 2013 Quick question. In corel draw X6, is there a way to separate a weld? I know it can be done in other programs, but can't seem to find it in draw. Thanks
jaybyrd 3,770 Posted December 6, 2013 I don't know of a way unless you just did it and can undo from where you're at

Thanks Will Arrange > Break Apart (Ctrl-K) do what you want? Like Jaybird said, unless you can Undo it, I don't know of any other way...
bikemike 711 Posted December 6, 2013 Nope, the break apart changes to break curve apart when it is selected. When you get a few of them welded then realize you screwed up the first one, it sux to have to undo all of them to get back to the first. you would think there was a way. jaybyrd 3,770 Posted December 6, 2013 They do it that way so we remember our mistakes. Sadistic but effective.

mfatty500 454 Posted December 7, 2013 I always make a copy of the objects or text that is going to welded, then I can go in and change the text/objects. Even if I close out the file.
