skarekrow 1,842 Posted December 6, 2013 This is another case where prep work needed to be done to the image before trying to vector. (for optimum results, any way) The original was enlarged and the resolution was increased.... this was to crystalize the detail as much as possible. Mind you that it wont ADD detail, just sharpen the fine points that are there. Other filters sharpening & contrast filters can be used as well to help sharpen the details that are already there. Again, it's hard to improve a poor, low resolution image. After vectoring the image, I shrink the size back down a bit for this particular file.
