Monkey 252 Posted October 6, 2013 I found denatured alcohol works really well for removing adhesive off most surfaces. Of course you have to pay attention to what your putting it on. But Ive used in on mirror acrylic, paint, glass, bare metal and no issues. Breaks down the adhesive better then anything else Ive tried. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
mabscotthandyman 1,410 Posted October 8, 2013 I use the little chisler to raise the edge then peel it back and unless it has baked in the sun for a good while it will come off fairly well. I use goof off or 3m adhesive remover (i buy it at advance auto stores) it works great to remove the leftover residue. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
