Looking for help on how to seperate an image

Hi, Im new here and new to vinyl cutting also. I was looking for help with cutting a large tree to put on the wall. I am using SCAL3 PRO and I can not figure out if there is a way for me to seperate the image into pieces and resize. If someone could help me I would greatly apprecaite it The image I want is one piece.. Thanks in advance!

In SCAL3, you'll want to click your image (so there's a complete box around it), go up to the top left where it says OBJECT, move your cursor down until you see BREAK APART. That will break up your image so you can re-size, move or delete different pieces of the image. After your done modifying the image, highlight your image (so there's a complete box around it) and then go back up to OBJECT and click MERGE. And that will merge the everything back into one image again.
