odokie 8 Posted October 25, 2012 Does any one know how the "Sure Cuts A Lot Pro" compares to Signblazer? I am hooked on SB because of how easy it is to use but need to try something new. Thanks for your feedback! Mary Ann
Rodger 527 Posted October 25, 2012 It seems very E-Z ... especially for a beginner . It takes awhile to figure out the different names they call stuff . Every different software is like that but SCAL seems VERY user friendly & they have tons of tutorials which helps much more than reading a manual . What a person learns with is always the easiest . SCAL has some neat tools , active suppport & updates . If a problem , you can contact the parent company for factory support .. It will also have massive support on this forum since USC is distributing it . Here is the weekly e-mailing anybody can get from USC . No matter how many softwares a person has , $49 for another software like SCAL is a great deal . IMO , every software usually has something it does better than any other software . Sometimes that comes in very handy . Just like a mechanic that has specialty tools , design/cutting software is similiar IMO . Cut virtually any shape with your electronic cutting machine. With the combination of your fonts, importing custom artwork and drawing your own shapes, the possibilities are endless! Compatible with USCutter MH MK2, USCutter SC Series, USCutter LaserPoint II, USCutter TC Series and Copam CP Series Works with TrueType and OpenType fonts Import various file formats, including SVG and PDF Drawing tools to draw and edit shapes Automatically Convert images to outlines "Weld" overlapping letters/shapes together Select styles, including Shadow and Blackout to change the look of your letters and shapes with a few simple clicks Create rhinestone templates Print and cut with laser alignment CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator and Inkscape plugins for easy compatibility and much more! SureCutsALot Pro is available at a special introductory sale price of only $49.99 (normally $199.99) that will run for two weeks only. Price is good through 11:59PST on 11/8/12. Sue2 920 Posted October 25, 2012 Ah, but will it work with other cutters like Graphtec, Roland, etc? Sue2
Jay2703 704 Posted October 25, 2012 It doesn't work with my VE Enduracut. If it works with your cutter, it looks like great software. The rhinestone function is fantastic and vectorizing the capability seems to be pretty good too.
