Corel draw 12 set up

Recommended Posts

I have a P-cut CT630 and have been trying to use Sign blazer but I have Corel draw 12 and would like to run from it.  Where can I download the driver and how do I set it up to cut through corel draw.  As you can tell, I'm new at this

Thanks

Hello Bob,

Welcome to the Forum.

Try and learn SignBlazer as you will find after two to three months that you will never use Corel again.

In meantime you will need to get stuff out of Corel into SignBlazer.

There are two main ways

1. Export.

2. Copy and Paste.

Here is how

The same rules apply to both.

a. Covert all text to curves.

b. Make sure all objects are closed (it is not advisable to cut open objects)

c. Make sure everything is inside the workspace or page area

d. Only use solid colors no fancy fills that cannot be cut

e. No overlapping objects. (unless it is deliberate as in two colors)

That is about it.

When exporting EPS make sure that you click on the advanced tab and have it set as follows

Trusts this gets you going quickly

Welcome to our forums!!

I have not heard of a way to setup the Creation or LaserPoint cutters to cut/ plot directly from Corel, only our Refine and Copam series.
