FBRsportmod68 109 Posted January 7, 2008 is there a way in SBE to get a colored background to use white lettering?
Bruce SignBlazer Support 0 Posted January 7, 2008 We don't currently have an option for setting the background color. The easiest way to do the same thing is to draw a rectangle the size of your workspace and then set it to the color you want. If you already have objects on your workspace you need to move the rectangle to the back by the menu "Arrange - Put to back" or press the shortcut key "End". Then while you have the rectangle selected go to the menu "Edit - Lock Objects". This will stop the background from being selected while you edit your drawing. When you go to cut you probably don't want to cut the background color, you can select the colors that you want to cut on the left of the cut screen. Jay2703 704 Posted January 7, 2008 You can create some backgrounds of various sizes and colors. File + Open and check the open as background. Select the color you want and the same size as the layout you want. Then you can create things on the Background color but it does not show up in the cut window. Here is a sample try this.SBD
Jerry Bonham 1 Posted January 10, 2008 Well Done Jay, Excellent advice. Here are some other tips. 1. Always have full render on with new computers. 2. Under EDIT you can lock objects as well so you can work on the top of them. Here is an explanation of Full Render Windows provides the rendering for what you see on screen. However what happens if you want to display other entities which Windows does not support? You have to write your own render engine. This is what our SignBlazer team have done, written a blazing fast render engine. Also if you own a video card with a GE Force chipset then SignBlazer drives the video card directly to improve the rendering and your display. This means that colors are rendered correctly & perfectly. SignBlazer Elements also has this ability. SignBlazer Elements also has full color management to ICC Version 4 Specifications.
