MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 11, 2010 maybe you can try it on the XP compatibility mode in windows 7, according to ad for Artcut in 2009, http://www.signwizard.co.uk/product_info.php/artcut-2009-p-35 Artcut 2009 is compatible with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
trophy 0 Posted September 11, 2010 Yes I have tried that but it rolls through a heap of vinyl before it starts to cut. Have tried all sorts but can not get it to cut at the top.
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 11, 2010 sorry, but I have seen nothing but people complaining about Artcut. I don't use it, Maybe try Signblazer, At least it is Free and can be downloaded from here on the forum , and it works with Windows 7. Don't know what else to tell you, goodluck. trophy 0 Posted September 11, 2010 I am used to artcut and find it ok for what I am doing, the problem is my files are on it and I need to get them. Once I have them I can scan and put into my Roland programme. I also need to get the drivers off the programme so I can load my Rabbit onto W7.
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 11, 2010 Actually, I don't upgrade on computers, for my cutter. no real need to. I stay with XP, it is very stable. and have an XP back up computer. and have a dedicated computer just for my cutter. You can still purchase older XP computers very reasonable on EBAY. and also get them with the serial ports.
