Guest kenya Posted March 13, 2010 That looks very nice. If you cut the mirror, I commend you..... that's not an easy cut.
wwpro 1 Posted March 13, 2010 Cutting it is not easy but doable if you have the proper tools, but polishing the edges to get a nice bevel that's another story. Let us know what's with the mirror
knucklehead 530 Posted March 13, 2010 Thanks for the nice comments. The mirror was purchased at the glass shop. They had two of em, been there for years. I got them pretty cheap, and now she's getting me a price on making some more. I feel an "ouchy" coming. Thanks Mike
Guest kenya Posted March 13, 2010 One more question..... is it 1/8" or 1/4" mirror?
bamafan2277 50 Posted March 13, 2010 maybe if we all band together to order a bunch she could do them for you for a cheaper price. I would definitely be interested in a few if the price is not crazy.
knucklehead 530 Posted March 13, 2010 They are 1/4 inch. I'll see what she says about the price, and post it up next week. Did I mention an "Ouchy" coming. Mike
knucklehead 530 Posted March 19, 2010 Did I mention an "Ouchy", $25.00 per mirror, no matter what quantity.
Guest Schramm Posted March 19, 2010 Knucklehead, Nice work! It may be less expensive to buy a sheet of mirror and find a local waterjetter. I hired a waterjetter out of Chicago about 4 months ago to cut letters and the jaguar logo (hood ornament) and the cost was fair for the perfect detail.
