Should I wash the shirt first?

Recommended Posts

no need to wash before pressing - most customers really don't want a shirt that doesn't appear fresh from the manufacturer

Thanks,

I only ask because my fellers catalog says to. I did a hoodie and the design is falling off because of all the fuzz.

Fuzz?  There shouldn't be any fuzz.  I wouldn't even think of washing the shirt first.  I've done orders over 1000 and I'd hate to think of washing them all first.

I'd be concerned that by washing it, one might be adding other agents (fabric softners, etc) to the fabric making adhesion even more difficult.

Go to the dollar store, and get some cheap lint rollers. I roll all my shirts. There's a lot of crap on new shirts.

Thats what I think I'll do.

Thanks!
