Forever ago I asked about printed decals I finally broke down and ordered a Roland GX-24 and the Epson WF-7510 with pigment ink from Richard @ CIS. I've been calling manufactures and requesting printable vinyl samples. Today I got a few from Oracal, 3628 & 3268. When I ran them through the printer they came out as a puddle of ink. What is wrong with my set up? The printer/ink or is it just the vinyl. I'm hoping it's just the vinyl. This is kind of the reason I ordered samples. If it's the vinyl... Can anyone here suggest a better temporary/removable vinyl? Hopefully a brand I can order samples from.

I just received my 25" Cutting Strip for my Copam and it doesn't have any installation instructions. I had thought it would have adhesive on the back to keep it down. The old adhesive is starting to peel up that why I bought a new strip.

I've only done 1 lighted sign before and I just reused the old plexi. I'm looking in my substrate book and there's TONs of options. The sign is 87" by 107". What are my best options and where do you order your material? All of my local suppliers recently moved out of state. Thanks for your help!

I'm looking for some low cost specialty vinyls with textures for a project I'm working on. I'm currently using 3M DI-NOC (Carbon Fiber). I've seen some wood and leather materials out there. Not sure what they're callers or where to buy them.

Does it come with software needed? It appears to work if I have Illustrator.

Hey Everyone. I've had a lot of requests for printed graphics lately. Mostly 2" x 7" stickers and skins for iPhones. So I've decided to make the investment in to an USCutter LaserPoint. My question is what else to I need to get started? I'm looking at an Epson printer and suggestions? What vinyl and laminate should I stock? Software? I'm currently running Flexi on a PC (The mac version I bought won't work with my copam) I know that won't work with the Laserpoint. An I missing something? My budget is $1000-$1500 hopefully only $1000. Can I get something better than the lasercut on this?

Thanks everyone! Glad you'll like it. I was going to charge $470 but that was out of the customers price range. Nice catch I noticed that after I took the pic. Made sure to fix it before the customer arrived.

Thanks alot! $450 was the price point I was thinking. I wasn't sure about the 651. I'v only ever done 1 truck before & I used 851 because the customer wanted metallic black.

I'm doing both sides of this truck in Oracal 651. Most of the white is layered on top of green. I have a rough idea of what I should charge. If you all could help by confirming my price.

Thanks, I only ask because my fellers catalog says to. I did a hoodie and the design is falling off because of all the fuzz.

I was wondering if I should be washing the shirts first? If so what settings?
