s205521 2 Posted February 15, 2010 I was wondering if someone that has a roll Oracal 651 (24") laying around could measure the width for me. I have heard differing reports that their 24" rolls are actually 25" wide. I have a job that must be exactly 24" tall so I'm trying to figure out if I can get away with a 24" roll or get a 30" roll and cut it down to fit in my cutter. Thanks! MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted February 15, 2010 you did not state, what cutter you have, so make sure your cutter can actually cut a width of 24" even though some cutters are 24" cutters, they cannot actually cut the full 24" width, example a Graphtec CE5000 is a 24" cutter, but the maximum width it can actually cut is 23.7" (according to their specification sheet) Check the specifics of the cutter you have. MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted February 15, 2010 you should be alright then, the UScutter EBAY ad says Max Cutting Width 625mm (24.6")
john! 1 Posted February 16, 2010 I know the 15" rolls of 651 are smaller than 15", the 15" rtape goes off the sides when masking about 1/8" or so.
