BannerJohn 1,324 Posted January 18, 2010 So today my mom was walking the dog in the back yard and this is what she finds..lying on the ground behind our storage building. I don't know a thing about automatic weapons..so I called the coppers and they came and got it. It was fully loaded. It's a wonder to me how my mom who is 86 kept from shooting herself when she picked it up and brought it into the house..which she shouldn't have done anyway. My bet is...about a month ago, they were searching for some guy who assaulted his girlfriend or something...found him hiding in the bushes about a few blocks away but were looking up here too. I bet he didn't want to be found with a gun on him (he had form) and laid it down,hoping to come back for it later. It was pretty well hidden. Just a guess.
