I sure hope so..If I am reading right, it doesn't ship with any software..but someone with SB can look and see if the jaguar or Puma drivers are in SB.

You would think that Bannerjohn would of recieved one of these cutters to "review" and as a token of appreciation of everything he does here.  Maybe I think wrong but I would "take care" of the people who "take care" of me.

That's my 2 pennies on the situation.

Bannerjohn has been the greates selling and support tool USC has left. and if I remember correctly all he got this year was a new cutting strip for his cutter on his birthday.

Closing in on 7000 post and helping at all hours . . .come on Marcus take care of your people!  After 3 years of support on the board and standing by USC for all that has gone on put him on the payroll

Zen Cut Green or Black will not run in SignBlazer... These cutters will work directly with SignCutPro and the current version of Flexi, the upcoming version of Flexi will feature designed drivers for these cutters.

How about that Green paint job... Crazy color huh! I think it's great to see something non-standard on a cutter.

Standard Roland Blades are all you need! From this standpoint alone it is by far a much more economical contour cutter then a Graphtec.

that's the best thing I've heard so far...so why doesn't it say so on the listing?

I don't do what I do for compensation. I volunteer. I'm sure my therapist could tell you why..but I can't....other than I love the forums and the members and honestly think I am needed and occasionally do some good.

If this was my JOB...Marcus couldn't afford to pay me what I would want. It's a lot of work.

BTW..I have gotten a few 'gifts'. Ken used to send me a pack of blades for my birthday...and Marcus is very nice to me.

So,does it ship with any usable software or do you have to buy software to use it? I am not seeing SignCut as a listed option on the listing.I do see Corel ...will it cut directly from Corel?

Jaguar, Puma and Bobcat drivers are present in the patched version of SignBlazer as well as some Vinyl Express drivers for GCC made cutters.

Guest HowardI

I was able to convince the green to cut from signblazer using the copam driver.  Not really sure why it works but I thought it would be worth a try to see if any of the already installed SBE drivers would work and was able to get cuts to go using CP2500 for it.

The ZenCut is a great machine.  I would like to have one of them myself.  If I do get a cutter I believe that's the one I will get.

It's really quiet, smooth, accurate, can cut very fast or very slow.  When you watch one run it's like the first time you watch a roland.

I would say anyone who wants contour cutting and a business type machine go for the green at the very least and if you need more go for the black.  The black is an amazing machine.  I would rather have a black than a GX24 or a CE5000.  But that's my personal feeling.

I've been anxiously waiting for the release of this machine ever since we got the prototypes.

I do hope you enjoy the pleasure of using one as much as I do.

Well I am very interested in this machine. I was gonna get a copam here in the next few but the price of this is too good if it really compares to the graphtec. But I only want to cut with sbe. Its took me this long to figure out sbi and I played with flexi and really hated it. I think I will wait and see.

I think I would wait to see how these work out.  I'm sure every new cutter that someone sells is touted as being great.  The proof is in the puddin!  Easy to say when there is no one to substantiate the claims.  unlike all the happy graphtec and roland owners!

Price ont he machines are great compared to Ordway but I am interested to hear from someone after they ave used one for some time

Just noticed that the Green comes with a 2 year warranty, the black, 3 years  I like this.

well, you could buy the same machine from Ordway...for $800 more. Add another $400 if you want the stand and basket which is included at USC's price. I'm sure they would pay for shipping if it was DOA..though they don't say on their site. For an extra $1200, they should, anyway.

John , That is an impressive warranty . I want 1 also

I understand the shipping concern . Every aspect of business is sort of a gamble IMO . Spend money in order to make more & in the manner to get the best return . Some people would buy a cutter from a local company with a local office that serves hot coffee & donuts to it's customers .. shipping a rare DOA unit back would not be a concern for that , but they pay dearly for that as you say . The smart business people here spend their money buying wholesale from USCutter & save a HUGE bundle ( I bought both Copams for 1/2 of what I was within minutes of spending for 1 equivalent cutter with a company that is more retail & was already a huge name in cutters a few years ago . BTW that company now has DOA units shipped back at the buyers expense ) Shipping costs are not as bad as I thought they would be . Most of the time USCutter walks the buyer thru the problem , but sometimes a unit is DOA .

I consider the value of USCutter having this forum a better benefit than the local seller or a seller that offers free shipping ( shipping is never free , just built into the price somewhere ) . I am a loyal person & think more of myself than to buy elsewhere & take advantage of USCutter's forum . Heck having you heading up this forum with your knowledge & constant patience ( well almost constant patience   ) is worth the little possible dues involved .

Thanks for pointing that out,Rodger. I'm sure that USC could offer free return shipping if they bumped up the price a few hundred dollars. But Marcus is determined to offer the best prices out there. And he does. And, judging from the specs and what I have heard about these cutters, they aren't likely to have many DOA.
