hawkkenz 0 Posted January 2, 2010 Here are some t-shirt vinyl projects I did last week. I don't have a heat press, I am just cutting the vinyl and designing the art work for a local sporting goods store, they have a heat press but no cutter. They were ordering their cut vinyl from one of the bigger companies. http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc131/hawkkenz/vinyl/DSCN0401.jpg[/img] http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc131/hawkkenz/vinyl/DSCN0403.jpg[/img] http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc131/hawkkenz/vinyl/DSCN0400.jpg[/img]
MaderDesign 3 Posted January 2, 2010 Look great, you should def think about investing in a heat press. You take out the other middle man leaving you with more profit. It's not hard at all to do either. Shirts look good though
Guest fivestar Posted January 2, 2010 Very nice, what kind of heatpress vinyl you using? I see that looks like 100% polyester and you can get a lot of bleed through if not using a vinyl with a color blocker. I use Thermoflex Xtra on those.
hawkkenz 0 Posted January 2, 2010 He supplies the vinyl, he gets it from Stahl's Cad Cut thermo film. As far as cutting out the middle man, the thing is I am not selling the t-shirts. He gets the orders from his customers and I make a little cutting the vinyl. I do the cutting at my home computer in my spare time. I have no interest in trying to under cut him, he has a store front and steady stream of foot traffic in to his store to get orders, and he let's me cut decals and sell them at the store.
