MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted October 31, 2009 You could try posting the file that your trying to cut, and see if someone can look at it. and see if it is a smooth file.

MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted November 1, 2009 I just cut the design and it cut fine using Flexistarter and a Graphtec cutter
MaderDesign 3 Posted November 22, 2009 It also depends on what % you are viewing the screen, images will appear jagged at certain %. Try making the object bigger and looking at it at 100%
Karl 0 Posted November 30, 2009 Exactly! if a line on the screen is not perfectly horizontal or vertical it will show as "bumpy" this is a screen resolution thing, you may find some improvement by increasing monitor resolution AND / OR increasing Document resolution = in Document setup or when new doc created; see attached. Default doc is 72 dpi, can be set to 300 dpi which makes a much larger file size. No matter if it is bit map or vector image, if a line is drawn with the line tool, no matter how it appears, it is straight in the vector graphic data, and that is what gets sent to the cutter.
