Dakotagrafx 7,298 Posted August 28, 2009 looks like it is not raising the pen between letters or moves - like the pen is always in contact with the paper

haumana 1,221 Posted August 28, 2009 Make sure that ... You don't have multiple layers causing unwanted cutting/plotting The cutter is properly grounded If you're using the USB to connect, that it's a direct connection and not going through a hub or an extension That's where I would be starting for now. I recommend that you put more details of your setup (i.e. OS, USB or Serial, cutting software, etc.) in your signature, it'll help to troubleshoot faster. LOBO 0 Posted September 1, 2009 ok.. this is my setup.. Windows Vista, USB direct, no hubs, Sign blazer elements, LP24.. i asked a graphic design guy locally, he said that it looks like a test pattern of some sort. that maybe i have a test box selected somewhere.. does anyone have the exact same setup??? what should be checked in the setup box in SBE?? what should all my settings be??? using the Test button when OFFline.. works fine.. should there be a number popping up on the TEST screen when scrolling thru the menu on the LP24?? haumana 1,221 Posted September 1, 2009 That is all over the place. Check to make sure that your cutter is grounded well.

MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 3, 2009 Try simple word like "help" first with pen by SBE. Paco I believe this same member had his problem solved on another thread,,, he had the offset at 12 instead of .25 thread below http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php/topic,21132.msg168438.html#msg168438
haumana 1,221 Posted September 3, 2009 What is wrong with these people, being so impatient and posting the same issue in several bulletins. ARGH! It makes me less inclined to help those who do that.
Guest HowardI Posted September 3, 2009 Try something really really simple. Like a 2" square. That would much easier to analyze. Make sure the cutter box in the setup screen says laserpoint. Let us know what happens after that. Howard Irwin Support Specialist US Cutter 425-481-3555 888-298-8143 - Option
Guest HowardI Posted October 22, 2009 After I looked at the cuts I realized what the problem is (most likely). Open signblazer. Click cutter. Click the save space tab and uncheck everything. Now see what happens. Howard Irwin Support Specialist US Cutter 425-481-3555 888-298-8143 - Option
