UncleCrack 0 Posted June 14, 2009 I was wondering what the degree of curve that could be used for making my windshield banners. Thanks, Jack
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted June 14, 2009 I have been making them for a long time, I have never arched them,, no problem applying.. there is usually enough space between the letters to flow with the windshield,,, here is a great video for appying... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_q9EAqSKJgc
Jay2703 704 Posted June 14, 2009 Different windshields have different amounts of curve. this is how I have done it in the past. I will take a long strait edge and lay it across the windshield. Measure the distance where the two sides of the straight edge cross the edges of the windshield. Then measure greatest distance from the arc of the windshield to the straight edge. I create a rectangle with these two measurements and I will use the top corners of the rectangle and the bottom center to arc my text through.
john! 1 Posted June 14, 2009 I don't curve them, they tend to go with the arc of the window anyway
